Lena from the Winz lab in Mainz has the chance of a secondment in the Tollervey lab at the Wellcome Center for Cell Biology of the University of Edinburgh in UK. She is staying there for about two and a half months to learn and implement the UV-CLIP-like approach CRAC.

Marvin from the Schirmeister lab in Mainz has the chance of a secondment in the Small-Saunders lab at the Division of Infectious Diseases of the Columbia University in New York, USA. He is staying there for about three months to learn Plasmodium falciparum culturing and to conduct drug assays for the evaluation of potential antimalarial substances.

Sophia from the Frye lab in Heidelberg has the chance of a secondment in the Falk lab at the Lund Stem Cell Center of Lund University in Sweden. She is staying there for about two weeks to learn how to culture neural stem cells and iPS cells.
